Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or creating an account on wasl-network.com (“WASL Network”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use or access the platform.

2. Nature of the Platform

WASL Network is an introductory matchmaking and networking platform designed for founders, entrepreneurs, and institutional/angel investors in the MENA region.

WASL Network is not a broker-dealer, financial intermediary, investment adviser, or legal representative. Nothing on the platform constitutes an offer to buy or sell securities, a solicitation of an offer to purchase, or a recommendation of any security or startup venture.

3. No Guarantee of Match, Funding, or Commercial Outcomes

While our proprietary compatibility scoring and curated investor databases are designed to maximize signal, WASL Network makes no guarantee that:

  • A user will secure a co-founder or technical partner.
  • A user will receive term sheets, funding, or responses from any registered or curated investor.
  • Any financial metrics, traction data, or representations provided by other members are accurate or verified.

All members are solely responsible for conducting independent due diligence, background checks, and legal drafting prior to entering into partnership or equity agreements.

4. User Conduct & Quality Standards

As a member of WASL Network, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, truthful information regarding your professional identity, employment history, and venture traction.
  • Refrain from creating fake, duplicate, or disposable accounts.
  • Refrain from using automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to harvest founder or investor data.
  • Respect the confidentiality of communications and information shared through mutual matches.

5. Account Review & Termination

To maintain the integrity of our founder ecosystem, all new founder profiles undergo administrator review before entering the Scout matchmaking pool. WASL Network reserves the right to decline, suspend, or terminate any account that submits false information, engages in spam or harassment, or violates our community standards, at our sole discretion without prior notice.

6. Governing Law & Dispute Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to technology and commercial services in the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Cairo, Egypt.

* Legal Review Notice: Multi-jurisdiction arbitration clauses (e.g., Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration - CRCICA or DIFC-LCIA) are flagged for formal corporate legal review prior to institutional expansion.
